Maggie Valley, NC Roofing for Cabins and Mountain Homes
Below the peaks of the Great Smoky Mountains, cabins and homes here face heavy snow, strong wind and steep lots. We build and repair roofs made to handle it, starting with an honest estimate.

Roofs for Cabins, Chalets and Year-Round Homes
Maggie Valley runs along US-19 in western Haywood County, at the doorstep of the Great Smoky Mountains and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Cabins, chalets and vacation homes line the slopes above the valley floor, many on steep lots reached by switchback roads. It is some of the most beautiful country we work in, and the weather up here demands a roof that is built for it.
Winter brings snow and ice to the higher roads, and the ski slopes nearby are a good reminder of how much can fall here. Wind funnels through the valley, and summer storms drop heavy rain on steep roofs. A lot of homes here are rentals or second homes that sit empty for stretches, so a leak can go unnoticed until real damage is done. Regular inspections and solid repairs make a big difference.
Metal roofing is a natural match for mountain cabins. It sheds snow quickly, stands up to wind, and suits the rustic look so many cabins have. We manufacture our own panels and trim, which means custom colors and profiles for your project, and we sell materials to homeowners and contractors who want to tackle their own build. Shingle roofs get the same careful attention.
Roofing and Exterior Services for Mountain Properties

Metal Roofing
Built for snow, wind and steep slopes, metal roofing is a top pick for mountain cabins. We make our own panels and trim in custom colors and profiles and sell materials for do-it-yourself projects.

Roof Repair
From a leak around a stovepipe to shingles lifted by valley wind, we find what is letting water in and fix it properly, so your cabin is ready for the next guests or your next visit.

Roof Replacement
When a cabin roof has seen too many winters, we replace it with metal or shingles and plan around steep lots, switchback roads and tight access from the very start.

Storm Damage Repair
Snow load, ice and summer storms can all leave damage behind. We inspect the roof, keep a thorough record of what we find, and restore it. That record can go to your insurer if you file a claim.

Gutters
Snowmelt and mountain rain need a clear path off the roof. We install and repair gutters and downspouts that move water away from decks, foundations and walkways.

Siding
Siding takes a beating in high mountain weather. We repair weathered sections and install new siding to keep your cabin or home tight against wind, rain and snow.

What Maggie Valley Cabin Owners Ask Us
Should our rental cabin have a metal roof?
For many rental cabins, metal is a smart fit. It sheds snow and rain quickly, holds up to wind funneling through the valley, and asks little of you between seasons. It also suits the look guests expect from a mountain cabin. We manufacture our own panels and trim and can help you choose a color and profile.
Our cabin sits empty much of the year. What roof problems should we worry about?
Slow leaks are the big one, because no one is there to notice a drip or a stain. Gutters full of leaves, snow sitting on a worn roof and storm damage that goes unseen can all let water in for weeks. Having us inspect the roof before and after winter, and fixing small problems early, is the best way to avoid surprises when you arrive.
Can you get equipment and materials up a steep switchback road?
That is part of working in this valley. During the estimate, we look at your road, your driveway and the space around the house, then plan how materials and the crew will get there and where they will work safely. If your property needs extra planning, we will talk it through with you ahead of time.
What does heavy snow do to a shingle roof?
Snow itself is not the main threat. The trouble comes when it melts and refreezes, forming ice along the eaves that can push water under shingles. Weight on an older roof and ice sliding into gutters can cause damage too. We check eaves, flashing and gutters closely, and for some homes we suggest switching to metal, which sheds snow far better.
Do you offer free estimates for vacation homes?
Yes, our estimates are free whether the home is your full-time residence, a second home or a rental cabin. Pablo inspects the roof himself and gives you a written estimate with no obligation. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and you can reach us at (828) 273-5321.
We are building a cabin ourselves. Can we buy metal roofing from you?
Yes. We sell metal roofing panels and trim, made on our own machine, to homeowners and contractors. Tell us about your build and we will help you measure and order the right amount of material and trim, so the project keeps moving without extra trips or leftover waste.
