- Henderson County Roofing
Roofs for the Valley Between Two Cities
Fletcher sits in the northern part of Henderson County, along I-26 and US-25 between Asheville and Hendersonville. It is home to the Asheville Regional Airport and the WNC Agricultural Center, and much of the town spreads across broad, open valley land near the French Broad River. That openness is pleasant to live in, but it also means roofs catch wind that sweeps across the flats without trees to slow it down.
Homes here range from established houses along the older roads to newer subdivisions that have filled in over the years. We see wind-lifted shingle edges, worn ridge caps and loose flashing on exposed roofs, and clogged valleys on homes backing up to wooded land. Every roof gets a full inspection from Pablo, who has 12 years of hands-on roofing experience and does all of our estimates personally.
We come down from our shop in Leicester, on the other side of Asheville, and this part of Henderson County is a regular stop for us. Whether you want a shingle roof replaced, a metal roof built from panels we make on our own machine, or gutters that can handle a heavy afternoon downpour, we will give you a clear written estimate before anything starts.
Services for Fletcher Homes

Roof Repair
Wind across open ground loves to lift shingle edges and loosen ridge caps. We find the weak spots, secure or replace what has failed, and seal the flashing so water stays out.

Roof Replacement
If your roof has lost too many shingles or is simply worn out, we replace it with architectural shingles or metal, with extra care on the edges and ridge where open-valley wind hits hardest.

Storm Damage Repair
After hail or a hard wind, we inspect every slope, take detailed photos and notes of the damage, and restore the roof. Those records can go to your insurer if you decide to file a claim.

Metal Roofing
Metal roofing panels are fastened in large sections, which helps on homes that face steady valley wind. We make our panels and trim in-house and offer a choice of colors and profiles.

Gutters
Heavy rain on flat valley lots can pool around foundations when gutters fail. We install and repair gutters and downspouts that move water well away from the house.

Siding
Wind-driven rain finds gaps in old siding. We replace damaged boards and panels or install new siding to tighten up your home's outer shell and freshen its look.

Fletcher Homeowners Ask Us
My house sits in an open area with few trees. Is wind a real concern?
It can be. Without trees or nearby buildings to break it up, wind hits roof edges, ridges and corners directly. Over time that loosens shingles and flashing. A good roof for an exposed lot starts with solid fastening and well-sealed edges. We check all of that during an inspection and repair or upgrade where needed.
Does metal roofing make sense for a home in the valley?
For many homes it does. Metal panels are fastened in long sections, shed water quickly in heavy rain and hold up well to wind. Since we make our own panels and trim, you can pick a color and profile that suits your house. If shingles are a better fit for your situation, we will tell you that instead.
Water pools around my foundation after storms. Could that be my gutters?
Very often. On flatter lots, water that spills over a clogged or undersized gutter lands right against the house and has nowhere to run. We check the gutter size, pitch and downspout locations and make sure each downspout carries water far enough away. Fixing that early protects your foundation, crawl space and landscaping.
A hailstorm came through recently. How can I tell if my roof was damaged?
Hail damage is often hard to see from the ground. Look for dents in gutters, vents and downspouts, and for granules washing out at the bottom of downspouts. On the roof, hits can bruise or crack shingles. We will climb up, inspect every slope, and photograph anything we find so you have a clear record.
Is there a cost to have you look at my roof?
There is no cost. Our inspections and estimates are free, and Pablo does them himself. He will explain what he found while he is there and send a written estimate afterward. Whether you hire us or not is entirely up to you.
Can contractors buy metal panels from you?
Yes. We sell the metal roofing panels and trim we manufacture on our own machine to both contractors and homeowners. Let us know what the project calls for, and we can help with measurements and get the order right before anything is cut.
